In the autumn of 1956, the murder of Ettore Cesari's eldest son triggered a war within the Corsican Union. After years abroad, Ettore's youngest son, Alessio, returns to his family to attend the funeral of his brother Paolo. Some of his relatives advise him to leave, not wishing to see him ruin his life, while others draw him into a violent vendetta. Despite himself, Alessio will become what he always shunned, what he has maybe always been.

IN THE NAME OF BLOOD is a gangster film, in the pure style of the classics of the genre. Taking place in the 1950s Corsican Union, it tells us about the Alessio's progressive and reluctant entry into his family's criminal activities.
